I am sick of all the bad chemicals and filler in skin care and make up, I want one that is less harmful to me and the environment. I would like to buy skin care and make up from the same company if possible.

But I asked all department stores here at the mall, and nobody has this line….

I am currently looking for a brand of facial cleansing products that helps with blemishes. I have mild acne and am going for acne treaments. I just need a daily cleanser and moisterizer. I have used Witch stick before and it was quite good, so I am deciding wether to buy the cleanser moisterizer and witch stick to use as my daily cleansing regime. I am just wondering if it has alot of chemicals in it that harms the skin and if it is any good. Please help.

Hey I agree the witch stick is brilliant. I have really sensitive skin, i dont have acne but i used the stick when i got a couple of spots and it helped alot. But for me the rest of the products didnt work for my skin. Ive learnt that just because one product in a range works doesnt mean the rest will. What i have found is PureA garnier works brilliant on my skin because its water based which means its light and doesnt clog your pores, it also nourishes. Its got the skins vital vitamins in. I have found most products work for me in this range. So i thought id try there blemish/spot controller (cant remember what its called) and it was useless it didnt help at all, and they have a night cream which i thought i’d try and that made my skin worse but there daily mosturiser is brilliant i would never swap, so i think all u can do is try a few different products not neceassrily in the same range. Search up your skin type and see what sort of products it would need thats what i did. Hope this has helped and good luck!

Burts Bees probably has the best quality cheap skincare out there. Its awesome and you can buy it at target and walgreens and cvs.

Burt’s Bees has never been organic and was recently bought out by Clorox. Not a company I would want to deal with if going organic.

I use the skin care line from Terressentials. It is 100% USDA certified organic, no other line can boast that. You can order the line from their website http://www.terressentials.com . Tea Tree Oil is good for breakouts as well.

There is a whole lot of green washing going on these days. You have to really check the ingredients for everything you purchase. Organic doesn’t mean anything unless it is certified organic. Natural doesn’t mean anything at all. Companies are slapping these labels on products to trick consumers.

Juice Beauty (available at Sephora) has some 100% organic and partially organic products. They do have an acne line that is made with organic ingredients. I tried it and it worked reasonably well.

CARE by Stella McCartney (also at Sephora) is also mostly organic, but very expensive.

You can also go to Whole Foods as they have lots of "green" skin care products. But buyer beware and read your labels as some of these lines have ingredients like SLS, PEG, propylene glycol, and other chemicals.

I don’t want anything that’s like a chemical, but all-natural like tea tree oil for example. Which ones help your hair, skin, nails, etc. and how?

Vitamin E stuff helps your hair skin and nails the most. Take vitamin e pills, very good for beauty purposes and the heart

My dear, the only anti aging skin care that works is sunscreen. Stay out of the sun and you’ll be fine- the rest is just a waste of money.

Currently there is no certification for body care as it is the FDA that regulates them and not the USDA that has the national organic program. Legally any body care/cosmetic product can put the word organic on their label even if there are zero organic ingredients and lots of ingredients that would never be allowed if there was organic certification for such
