I am 27 and my skin is going through some major changes. It seems to becoming more sensitve and I constantly break out around my cheek sand mouth. Proactive worked for me, but it lightned my skin too much. So now I want to find an ACNE product line that will also lightned dark acne SCARS. Please Help. Thanks…
for scars…it would probably be helpful to go see the dermatologist and get some prescription medication, you could also get other treatments for acne there
otherwise, I’ve heard that your skin can get addicted to Pro-activ, but some things that I’ve tried and that have worked are:
clean and clear
biore
avon
proactive
you can also get a benzoyl peroxide bar, which is supposed to help pimples, and i think salcylic acid (not sure of spelling) helps with some other things
but for acne in general, i don’t think that water works that well, but drinking lots of water, eating healthy, and exercise could certainly help
but really, asking a dermatologist could help a lot
As I mention from past, I’m breaking out.. I want to use something thats less chemical.. Because I need some coverage (necessity due to my pimples).. I tried Dermacia, Bare Minerals (still irritates my skin).. So I wanna try legit organic skin care..Thanks!

I have rosacea and sensitive skin. I am looking for a good skin care regime to help with wrinkle reduction and anti-aging, any ideas?
I fear that good anti-aging for rosacea sufferers is like looking for a low-fat lard – you just aren’t going to find it.
Most anti-aging products cause new skin via some sort of irritation or stimulation to produce new, younger cells. This irritation will not be helpful for rosacea sufferers who almost universally have sensitive skin.
A good physical sunscreen, perhaps tinted is the best option as the sun can age everyone’s skin prematurely. Try to avoid chemical sunscreens if you can. A gentle moisturizer, perhaps even with an embedded sunscreen is also another good option to have in your armour.
And are there any negative effects?
1. Being natural, they are considered quite harmless to the skin
2. They contain time tested ingredients with proven efficacy
3. The natural products can supply several essential nutrients to the skin too and help cure skin ailments etc.
Can’t think of any negatives except they may be more expensive and harder to find.
I currently use products from The Body Shop, but would like to branch out/use cheaper brands. However, I am concerned about my skin’s reaction to products and would like to hear from others. I have used Origins, which I enjoy. My make up remover is Physician’s Organic Wear. Drugstore products like Neutrogena are WAY too harsh on my skin.

My ex girlfriend uses Allmay products.She says the same thing.I wanted to treat her to a day of beauty at Elizabeth Grady and she said all their stuff is too harsh. I got her this Lancome perfume and gift set with beauty products. She wound up throwing out the eye liner, eye shadow, mascara and make up remover because she got a bad reaction to using them.
If there is, what is the name of the cosmetic and where can I buy it?
Basically, we have dozens of organic skin care brands in Japan.
You can go to drug store or cosmetic shop and ask if they have it. And they will show you some brands.
DOes anybody know where I can go to find out which "natural" beauty products are really natural? There are so many out there that say they are natural and organic, but I have read that many have only small amounts of anything natural and/or organic and the rest of the ingredients are just the same old stuff. Since I’m not an expert label reader and don’t know what ingredients are dangerous I’m curious if there is a website out there that will help you determine which products are really ok and which ones just have pretty labels that sugar coat the names of the same dangerous chemicals that are in all of the other stuff.
There’s a video on the blog I read that has a video review of organic beauty products, and the link they have on there is an awesome sight to find great natural products.
I’ve just tipped 40 and have been careful to look after my skin by regularly moisturising but sadly the time has come to find a moisturiser that takes care of those smaller wrinkles that are slowly appearing on my face.
I’m very wary of spending money on expensive products that might not work so does anyone know a good product and more importantly where can I get a free sample (in the US) to try for myself before buying?

I was 40 last year and started to show a few crow’s feet as well. Best thing to do is get a free sample of a leading cream (just pay S&H) and try it out to avoid paying big bucks on a bad product.

I also gave up smoking and took up more exercise which helped as well – I feel better now than I did when I was 25!
